Colm O’hEocha |
In roles from programmer to Chief Technical Architect to Director of R&D, Colm has over 20 years experience in IT. Introducing agile and lean software development methods to companies since 2001, Colm has huge experience of the opportunities and pitfalls organisations face introducing and scaling methods such as Scrum and Kanban in real enterprise development environments. As both agile team member and manager, he has guided agile adoption strategy in diverse development environments such as web applications, enterprise systems, firmware and data streaming platforms. Colm provides executive and team level training, consulting, coaching and assessment services in Scrum, Lean and Kanban methods. |

Fran O'Hara |
Fran has over 27 years experience in the software industry having worked as a researcher, developer, tester, project manager, software development manager and quality management consultant. Fran specialises in pragmatic approaches to lean/agile, software process improvement, quality/testing, and associated practices. For the last 5 years, his main focus has been providing agile/lean coaching, training and support to organisations transitioning to agile. These include HMH, Aegon Insurance, Openet, WBT Systems, Celtrino, DAA, The Hartford, Payzone, Newbay and Visma Sirius (Denmark).
Fran is recognised as a thought leader in Quality and Agile and consults with clients in these areas particularly around Scrum/Kanban. He is a regular speaker at agile, process improvement and quality/testing conferences. Fran is a certified ScrumMaster, an ISTQB testing tutor at advanced level, a CMMI lead assessor, a fellow of the Irish Computer Society, a director of the TMMi Foundation, and co-founder of the Irish SIG in Software Testing - SoftTest.

John Coogan |
John Coogan has been working in Ericsson since 1995. Throughout his career he has worked as an engineer, analyst, strategist, line manager and project manager. Regardless of the role test has always been at the centre of John’s focus. He has developed testing strategies for major Ericsson product releases, implemented new company wide process initiatives and introduced new test activities with a strong focus on the end customer. Most recently John has been driving the introduction of agile testing as part of an overall Agile change program in the Ericsson Athlone organisation.

Dave McGuinness |
Development Lead role, managing a medium-sized team to deliver R&D projects in FINEOS’ Strategic Product Group. David has worked across a broad range of industries at home and abroad, ranging from Insurance claims management systems, to Mobile Internet, and technical consultancy. David is an advocate of Agile techniques for software development, and to this end his team is endeavouring to foster a culture of collaboration, self-organisation, continuous improvement and the evolution of new practices.

Leo has over 20 years experience in the development and management of a wide range of software products and projects. Before Duolog he worked for FotoNation managing a multi-site, multi-disciplined team of engineers and researchers developing of advanced image processing software such as face detection and motion blur removal. Previous he worked at Silicon & Software Systems, Electronic Publishing and at Industrial Control Systems in the Netherlands.

Ger is CTO of Goshido a cloud service for project-collaboration. Ger has 13-years experience in running successful projects using agile/scrum and sometimes provides training and consulting for customers. Prior to Goshido, Ger held senior technical positions at Intel, Tellabs, Digital and Motorola.

Paraic Hegarty |
Paraic Hegarty is CTO of Akari Software, a Cork-based software company developing Curriculum Design & Management tools for Higher Education. Paraic has a BA in Computer Science and a PGDip in Technology Commercialisation. His 25 years IT experience includes programming, project management & leadership roles in software and technology consulting organisations. Paraic has been a Scrum Product Owner for just over a year and is beginning to realise how little he knows. He is currently failing to write a book on Radical Self-Organising Systems.

Ken Brennock |
Ken Brennock is currently an independent test consultant working for an international financial services organisation. Up to recently he was test practice lead and a principal consultant of Sogeti Ireland. Ken's experience in the IT sector spans over 20 years and he has worked in many companies during that period, including large multinationals and small indigenous companies. He has worked with many companies to implement test process within Agile methodologies. Ken is an ISTQB accredited tutor and develops and presents a number of courses and presentation both nationally and internationally. He has worked with and implemented many methodologies including RUP, Agile and traditional approaches such as Waterfall.
