Event Driven Architecture in practice
Biography
Application Architect / Team Lead at Huddle
Software architect with more than 10 years of experience in developing high volume/performance scalable web applications.
In the last few years I've lead the migration to an agile approach of various companies.
Today I live between Toulouse and London where I lead a scrum team in Huddle.
My job is mainly about architecture, mentoring and implementation of agile practices. I also help to organise DevTank in London (tech & startups conference). The technologies I usually work with are .NET, C# e Ruby.
I am a frequent speaker at international conferences
Description
We don't want to have a huge block of code impossible to maintains and extend.
We want to break up the monolithic application into smaller isolated services which are
easy to extend and deploy..after all we want to be agile!
Let's see how Event Driven Architecture can help us to have a more scalable application and how
services use messaging to communicate.
The objectives of the session:
- overview of an event driven architecture
- advantages
- disadvantages
- communication patterns |
